NO, we did not have time to order another steak. I was NOT thrilled to had to eat the steak which was cut and had few bites taken but GOOD thing we were good friends that we accepted the switching of the meat. Here is the kicker, my friend ordered "medium well," and I ordered "medium rare," steak and when we got the food, and after WE CUT into it and too few bites, we realized that our steak got switched. I literally could count the amount of mushroom that was given with the steak and the mash potato was cafeteria quality. We had their rib eye steaks, the most expensive item on the menu and "under whelmed" does not even describe how inconsistent steak was from how it was described on the menu. He knew we were a party of four and if I had known how small the portion was, I would've ordered two. The waiter really should've been a used car sales person the way he "sold" us on the dips. We were a party of four and we all realized that we could get "at most" one or two? dips before we ran out of the dip. Their salad was limp and we ordered Caesar and "field of green." Their appetizer special "crab dip" has large portion of crackers BUT small portion of dip. It has lots of amusing decoration in the restaurant(HUGE kissing fish, and hanging decorations of fishes chasing each other) but I realized it as more of a distraction to how "bleh" their food tasted. Ever since having my heart surgery, I've been very selective about my diet and sea food has become staple for my "go to it protein." That being said, I've been to the variety of "primary seafood base" restaurants and Costal flat was pretty flat when it comes to "WOW" factor.
